NTT DATA Services currently seeks a System Administrator to join our team in Alexandria, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).



Operational responsibilities include remediation of daily incident tickets, system compliance responsibilities, system run enhancement testing and staging, policy / procedure enhancements and adherence, client contact coordination and operational recommendations. Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels in standalone and multi-tiered environments. Implements appropriate levels of system security. Prescribes system backup / disaster recovery procedures and directs recovery operations in the event of destruction of all or part of the operating system or other system components. Ensures 24x7 after-hour support.


Manage Windows Server 2012R2 and 2016 design, configuration, and administration.
Manage Microsoft Terminal Server environment including licensing, session broker, gateway, and desktop servers
Conduct registry backups and system level modifications to support patch remediation.
Configure Group Policy Objects (GPO) and apply Local Security Policies in accordance security settings/Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and other commercial security best practices.
Provide SME level troubleshooting on file server, IIS, SharePoint, VMware, CITRIX, and in-house application operations.
Maintain systems configuration and manage installation and integration of systems fixes, updates, and enhancements. Manage mixed virtual, (vCenter/ESXi 6) and physical infrastructure for servers and workstations.

Required Qualifications:

-5-7 years of relevant experience with implementing and supporting Remote Desktop Services.

-Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

-Experience troubleshooting network issues associated with user connections and VPNs.

-CompTia Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, or GSEC in good standing (IAT-II or higher).
-Current (within 5 years) computing environment certification; Ex. Microsoft MCSA/MCSE.

-Top Secret Clearance Required

Demonstrated capability and expertise in the following implemented products and equipment in support of: Microsoft® Windows Server 2012 and above; VMware® technologies including ESXi 5 and above, VMWare Horizon View Suite 6 and above; Juniper SSL VPN; McAfee® Host Based Security System; Microsoft Office; ACAS Security Center and Nessus scanner; Microsoft Active Directory.
