NTT DATA Services currently seeks a IT Process Consultant/Business Analyst to join our team in Arlington, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
• Identify, create/update, and present Process and Work Flow improvements and documentation.
• Work with Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) Users to self-register for password changes and user profile updates. Perform weekly checks of non-registered users, identify and report usage of self-registrations. Develop/update/implement communications plan to increase MIM use.
• Evaluate the data in Systems Center Service Manager (SCSM) to determine IT problematic issues to suggest areas of improvement to management.
• Review and record survey content involving service desk performance and capture comments from Government and Contractors. Prepare weekly email for dissemination to executive level Government management.
• Perform weekly SCSM tickets trending/analysis and prepare results report.
• Perform knowledge transfers for business processes and systems as required. Prepare/update Knowledge Articles (KAs).
• Maintain and update the Agile Kanban board in SharePoint.
• Work with Training/Service Desk/public relationships staff to publish relevant tips of the week. Run reports in Service Desk to determine issues that cause the most calls to cultivate more ideas/training ideas for the tips of the week.
• Set up the Daily Broadcast Communications Messages (BCMs) according to established procedures and formats.
• Document/update the BCM consolidation process. Make contacts to determine message eligibility for inclusion in weekly broadcast. Critique and assemble message for dissemination.
• Document PIV exemption process. Review all permanent PIV exemptions and document for SI executive management: User, Supervisor, Justification, and Unit. Provide approval recommendation, or determine if the justification is outside of the existing justifications and retrieve more information for review and escalation.
• Demonstrate Service Manager or other service management platform and collect business requirements.
• Maintain a data dictionary of all active Service Manager Queues to disseminate to all operators on a regular basis.
• Provide procurement support including preparing official forms to request IT equipment (e.g., new or relocation of equipment and installations).
• Create, update, and manage the office SharePoint sites and share drive content.
• Review and provide recommendations to the SI Webster site development and maintenance.
• Provide ITSM Governance Board support (e.g., prepare for monthly Government Board meeting, draft voting issues, manage Governance Board SharePoint site).
 

Required Qualifications:

 • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
 • Active DOD Secret or above Security Clearance.
 • BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business,    Physical Science, or other technology related field.

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

        • 2+ years experience in a similar environment.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience or knowledge of a user self-service identity management application, such as Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM).
• Experience or knowledge of MS Service Manager or other software product (e.g., ServiceNow) to manage incidents and problems (help desk).
• Experience with or knowledge of Agile Kanban methodologies.
• Experience with diagramming tools such as Visio.
• Experience with or knowledge of how to write plans (e.g., Communications plan).
• SharePoint design and development experience.
• Have experience with data and/or statistical analysis.
• Have experience w/ supporting inventory activities.
