NTT DATA Services currently seeks a PMO Business Analyst w/ a Secret Clearance to join our team in Arlington, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

 

 

The IT Principal Consultant PMO Business Analyst will assist with the development and maintenance of the client IT Portfolio framework and IT Governance program. These activities include project feasibility, performance measurement, project management, and organizational development.


General Duties and Tasks:

  • Perform gap analysis and trend analysis
  • Determine operational objectives of business requirements
  • Evaluate existing or interfacing systems and provide analysis and recommendations on whether interfaces should be continued or be functionally subsumed
  • Identify modifications and improvements to enhance efficiencies and performance of existing system features
  • Identify core business needs and decompose and document in concepts of operation, briefings and project schedules
  • Document business rules and construct use cases and workflow diagrams as needed
  • Develop and maintain an organizational IT Portfolio Framework
  • Facilitate meetings between senior level stakeholders, system developers, and product owners
  • Develop IT Governance artifacts, such as business cases, Project Management Plans, CONOPS, risk management Plans, and Functional Analysis artifacts (CBAs and Alternative Analysis)
  • Support Performance Measurement Planning and Metrics Reporting
  • Support IT Strategic Planning, IT Business Roadmap development, and Data Collection
  • Provide Weekly and Monthly Status Reporting
  • Provide meeting support (facilitate meetings, prepare agenda, prepare project briefings, present to the stakeholders, document and distribute meeting minutes, and track actions)

  • MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Office Visio 2016, Microsoft Office Project 2016, SharePoint 2016 User

General Skills

  • Support other PMO tasks as assigned
  • Flexibility is a must, as well as the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple work streams, multi-task and work well under tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience in building partnerships with business and technical stakeholders as applicable
  • Self-starter with ability to perform and lead work independently.
  • Participate in project planning and schedule development/maintenance activities

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer or Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field or technical discipline is desired
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant IT Portfolio Management experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
