NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Systems Engineer (Change Management) to join our team in Arlington, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

 

 

Key Skills, Experiences and Responsibilities:
- Experience with ServiceNow and formal ServiceNow training and/or certification is required, experience should be preferably across the entire ServiceNow suite of products to include ITSM, IT Operations, Business Management, Asset Management  and Performance Analytics
- Facilitate, Lead, Coordinate and participate as required in Governance boards, Architecture (ARB) and Engineering (ERB) review boards as well as the SW/HW Approval Request Panel (SHARP)


- With regards to Change Management:
• Develop and/or update key CIO strategic products and submissions such as CIO IT Strategic Plan, Enterprise Transition Roadmap, Decommissioning Plan, and USAID’s EA Results Framework.
• Facilitate delivery of strategies and reference architectures to include USAID domain architectures for Cloud/Infrastructure, Security, Collaboration, Enterprise Information Management, and application modernization
• Serve as liaison with CIO senior management, internal and external standards boards, and architecture working groups to understand potential impacts of architecture industry trends to existing architecture framework, work priorities, and architecture maturity
• Provide Business Architecture support to new and ongoing USAID and CIO Projects:

  • Ensure Governance and enforcement of Business Reference Model and USAID business architecture principles and best practices
  • Traceability of business processes to system functions and services and
  •  Alignment of USAID services (both professional and technical) to USAID business processes/functions, ADS 200, and to the OMB's Federal Enterprise Architecture – Business Reference Model (FEA BRM) and Application Reference Model ( FEA ARM)

- Responsible for updating and keeping current the USAID SDLC as pertains to both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies
• Engage in defining, developing and keeping current engineering (SDLC) and architecture artifacts and standards
• Provide oversight of Enterprise SDLC reviews including change management to ensure compliance with standards and required guidance and in this context
• Support the effort of collaborating with Information System Security Office (ISSO) to ensure all required security controls are built into solutions.

 

Qualifications:
- BA/BS and 10+ years’ experience
- Secret clearance is required
- Experience with ServiceNow and formal training and/or certification is required
- Strong experience in Software Engineering and/or IT networking and infrastructure engineering with both Waterfall and Agile, Agile/SAFe certifications is a plus
- Experience drafting concept definition papers, analysis of alternatives, and business cases as necessary
- Provide guidance and expertise on applicability of industry standards and best practices such as ITIL, CMMI, COBIT, IEEE, SAFe, Agile and DevOps and other leading industry practices
