NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Delivery Manager - Applications to join our team in Austin, TX.  Candidates local to Austin, TX are strongly preferred.



The ideal Candidate will have deep knowledge and expertise around industry best practices in the various aspects of IT, technology trends, proven track record of successfully delivering large enterprise application development projects along with service delivery responsibilities.


The individual will be responsible for Program Delivery:

  • Portfolio and program management of a large enterprise custom web application development
  • P & L responsibility of a large portfolio programs and projects
  • Delivery leadership to execute large portfolio of projects starting from pre-sales to delivery and successful service transition
  • Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements
  • Supervise all program, release train engineers, scrum masters and project managers
  • Responsible for managing staffing needs for multiple projects
  • Create and maintain program management plan artifacts
  • Plan and manage programs from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones and processes
  • Discover ways to enhance efficiency and productivity of procedures and people
  • Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations
  • Ensure project releases adheres to service transition policies and guidelines 



Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years work experience with managing a multi-project program

Minimum of 5 years work experience with delivery oversight-software development



Preferred skills:

  • Proven experience as Development Manager / Senior Manager / Program Manager leading large enterprise web application development initiatives
  • Extensive experience  and thorough understanding of large enterprise custom application development processes, methodologies and end-to-end delivery
  • Experience working in Agile (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban preferred), Bi-Modal, Waterfall etc.
  • Proven track record of P&L responsibility of a large programs
  • Strong understanding of ITIL, SEI CMMi and SAFe
  • An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
  • Strong knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics
  • Service Delivery (SLA/SLOs) experience
