NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Peoplesoft Database Administrator to join our team in Baltimote, Maryland (US-MD), United States (US).



Looking for a senior Peoplesoft/Oracle database administrator experience to take over the administration and tuning of the PeopleSoft environment.


Day to Day job requirements:

  • Lead and participate in various projects related to implementation, production support, Tools and Application Upgrades, and Database Migrations as Lead PeopleSoft Database Administrator.
  • Must have proficient technical skills as a PeopleSoft Database Administrator, Oracle Database Administrator, UNIX/Linux and Windows Administration.
  • Must have worked on multiple PeopleSoft Applications (HCM, FSCM, EPM, ELM, Portal and CRM) as a PeopleSoft Database Administrator from 8.8 to 9.2 and People Tools from 8.46 to 8.56.
  • Must have worked on PeopleSoft Production and Non-Production Environments on Windows and UNIX/LINUX servers.
  • Experienced in PeopleSoft Installation using PUM and Maintenance, Tools and Application Patching using PUM, Applying Tax Updates, Tools and Application Upgrade, Comparing and Migrating Software code, Configuring and Troubleshooting PeopleSoft Application, Domains and Database issues.
  • Experienced in Code and Data Migrations across PeopleSoft Environments.
  • Worked on Troubleshooting and Performance tuning of SQL Queries.
  • Experienced in Table Reorganization, running statistics and Indexing.
  • Experienced in handling PS Jobs and Sessions.
  • Handled SQL Server activities like configuring Log shipping, Database backup jobs and DTS Jobs, Database restores and Performance monitoring,
  • Must have excellent Analytical ability, Troubleshooting and Problem solving ability along with excellent written, communication and documentation skills.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience administering the Peoplesoft database environment running on an Oracle platform
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience administering the Peoplesoft application environment


Nice to Have:

  • AIX administration experience
