NTT DATA Services currently seeks a API Lead to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

 

 

  • Participate in system design including definition of technical approach. Develop general specifications and/or detailed specifications for use by other team members.
  • Develop new code and maintain existing code.
  • Analyze change requests to existing systems, as well as new development.
  • Review, analyze, and modify solutions and conduct coding, testing, debugging and installing to support requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge and compliance with program, quality assurance, and security and information assurance requirements.
  • Communicate with project managers, SMEs and other programmers to achieve maximum results relating to development, implementation, and maintenance to meet customer requirements.
  • Document analysis, procedures, guidelines, and reports pertaining to the implementation, development, and maintenance of the customer systems.
  • Develop unit and system level test services to validate that the APIs meet the requirements defined in the design specification
  • Hands on experience in Restful Web Services
  • Strong working knowledge of Java, Spring, Hibernate
  • Proven ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of technical architecture, design, and scalability, Relational Database usage.
  • Interface with Customer to determine requirements, assist with Use Cases, support implementation, and/or troubleshoot business issues and potential bugs.
  • Perform software debugging, unit testing using Junit, and web services testing with REST-Assured
  • Working knowledge of Linux
  • Jira Project Management
  • Agile and Scrum methodology
  • Knowledge of deploying Java REST applications to Apache Tomcat
  • Exposure to SQL is desirable
  • Knowledge of software development tools such as Subversion and Maven
  • Strong communication skills
  • Rest Easy API
