The Portfolio Marketing Director is a people manager role reporting to the Practice Marketing Senior Director and assumes responsibility for developing and implementing Marketing & Communications materials in support of the practice marketing initiatives. 

  • Provides direction and guidance for administration and results for team of practice marketers supporting our Security, Workplace, Applications and Data offerings
  • Translates business plans into objectives and exercises latitude in managing operations
  • Accomplishes results through the efforts of professional team members


This is a marketing communications people manager role tasked with increasing NTT DATA Services awareness by leading a professional team of practice marketers tasked with:

  • Developing messaging to support the NTT DATA Services portfolio
  • Translating business strategies and services offerings into key marketing messages and communications
  • Creating and maintaining online and offline sales enablement content
  • Supporting the development and execution of various demand generation programs designed to generate awareness and build sales pipeline
  • Developing digital content and website promotions for
  • Working with sales operations to better understand the needs and requirements of the sales force (buying/sales cycles, client intelligence, etc.).
  • Monitoring and improving marketing's content/asset life cycle.
  • Developing appropriate targeted messages to drive service and solution positioning, increase sales and enhance market share.
  • Evaluating and adjusting marketing, branding and communications strategies to respond to changing market trends.

  • Excellent knowledge of business and marketing strategy, concepts tools and techniques, including promotions, direct mail, client relations, and advertising
  • Effective communicator with strong personal skills, able to forge internal and external relationships, ability to engage across all levels of NTT DATA and with external partners
  • Must be organized, enthusiastic, results-oriented, innovative and able to deal with ambiguity and tight deadlines while working effectively in a team environment
