NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Production Support Analyst to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

 

 

Responsibilities:

Monitoring production and testing processes and output.

Identifying and resolving technical problems.

Automating scheduled production processes.

Maintaining corporate on-line viewing and report generation capabilities.

Controlling changes applied to test and production applications.

Documenting of all processes, as appropriate.

 

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field; or a high school education.

Good to have: Experience in a Job Monitoring, technical support, technical help desk or programming environment.

Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience plus with job scheduling/monitoring software such as Nagios, Control M, Atomic etc. An understanding of process scheduling software supporting batch processing environments.

Available to work hours that will allow the Production Support Team to be adequately staffed to support production systems, including weekends, night shifts.

An understanding of source code migration processes and procedures.

Advanced troubleshooting and technical problem analysis skills.

A basic understanding of fundamental elements of an IT infrastructure in a distributed computing environment – network, operating systems, servers, storage.

Basic knowledge on programming language like C, C++, Shell Scripting.

Basic Knowledge on SQL is an added advantage.

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills.

An ability to work independently and prioritize and organize multiple tasks.

Strong problem-solving and customer service skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
