NTT DATA Services currently seeks a IT Asset Management Advisor - Software/Hardware to join our team in Bucharest, București (RO-B), Romania (RO).



Role Responsibilities

  • Building and sustaining effective communications with all stakeholders towards the goal of maximizing the customer experience
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to design and implement ITAM processes and policies supporting the lifecycle
  • Participate in Asset Management audits and remediation efforts
  • Timely and accurate reconciliation of lifecycle data relating to program assets and the asset tracking system
  • Reconciliation between various data repositories to ensure consistency of all data sources
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity of the asset data
  • Managing preparation and distribution of pre-defined and ad-hoc reports related to asset management
  • Oversee the daily management of software licenses
  • Aggregate software purchasing and license data to produce effective license positions
  • Maintain related documentation
  • Knowledge and experience with complex datacenter software license models: Oracle, IBM, SAP, Microsoft etc.
  • Experience with software license audits
  • Develop and implement continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies



  • Minimum four years of experience in software asset management
  • Experience with various database and spreadsheet tools – SQL, Access, etc. Strong Excel skills are required
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on customer service, including experience handling challenging situations and conflict resolution
  • Must be able to work independently and take initiative to identify, track, and resolve issues
  • Experience implementing and/or using Flexnet Manager Platform and or similar industry standard ITAM solutions
  • Experience working on virtual teams



  • IAITAM or ITIL certification
  • Experience working in a managed services environment
  • Working knowledge of service desk and field service operations a plus
