NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Network Security Specialist Advisor - US Hours to join our team in Bucharest, București (RO-B), Romania (RO).

 

 

This position will involve daily maintenance and operations of the  customer network security infrastructure. You will be working primarily with CyberArk, Balabit, Cisco, Sourcefire, Bluecoats  and other network security products in order to help design, confirm, determine and/or troubleshoot network traffic flows. Network Security Services include daily maintenance and operations of multiple  devices and network security infrastructure along with enforcing the network security policy and complying with requirements of external security audits and recommendations.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

  •  Network Administration: Designs, develops, implements and support day to day operational systems that provide the necessary metrics for monitoring our environment proactively.
  •  Provides high-level support and technical expertise in networking technology, authentication practices and security administration.
  •  Administers, monitor sand maintains firewalls, Proxy, VPN access and IPS devices.
  •  Works with vendors, clients and technical staff on network security implementation, optimization and ongoing management.
  •  Implements network security policies and procedures.
  • Disaster recovery services: Assists in the design, development and implementation of necessary disaster recovery services.
  • Supports the daily operational components of all disaster recovery services to confirm the smooth operation of all hardware and software throughout the environment.
  • Is required to maintain an agreed to level of response times for all requests.
  • Tracks and reports back to the IT Manager when response and resolution SLA requirements are in jeopardy 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Demonstrable knowledge of basic Information Security and Network Architecture concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to assume sole and independent responsibilities
  • Experience in administrating BlueCoat environment

 

Desirable qualifications :

 

  • Open DNS Cisco Umbrella solution
