NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Systems Administration Advisor to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts (US-MA), United States (US).

 

 

Administers, directs, and integrates the organization’s networks in a multiple platform, protocol, and operating systems environment.  Plans, coordinates, implements, and supports the LAN/WAN hardware, software, and internet/intranet/extranet integration and linkage.  Researches vendor products and recommends purchase, development, or enhancement of network hardware and software. Specific assigned tasks include:

 

  • Troubleshoots LAN/WAN attached systems to maintain operational integrity
  • Build and configure Windows based systems according to departmental standards
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain the overall stability and performance of a Windows 2008 Active Directory servers and services
  • Administers both system and application accounts, including creation and deletion of accounts and password resets
  • Administers and maintains the enterprise storage area network (SAN) solution
  • Coordinates efforts with vendors for upgrades and system maintenance
  • Establishes performance standards, policies, and procedures
  • Proactively recommend technical solutions and innovations
  • Coordinate changes in accordance with established change control processes
  • Provide level two client support to facility’s customers.

Skills Required:
• 3+ years’ experience supporting enterprise storage area network (SAN) solutions
• 3+ years’ experience with Windows 2008/2012 server OS
• 3+ years’ experience in Active Directory system administration and troubleshooting
• 3+ years’ experience building and managing Terminal Servers.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange/o365 online
• Experience with of Microsoft Windows server 2016 (would be a Plus)
• Experience supporting fibre protocol fabrics
• Experience supporting iSCSI protocol fabrics
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and team-oriented personality
• Able to work well in a fast paced, diverse environment.

 

Skills Preferred:
• 3-5 years’ experience managing an enterprise-class VMware infrastructure
• Experience with Dell Compellent SAN architectures preferred
• Experience with Brocade or other fibre fabric switches preferred
• Experience with the VEEAM application helpful.
