NTT DATA Services currently seeks a HR Generalist to join our team in Casablanca, Grand Casablanca (MA-08), Morocco (MA).

 

 

Purpose of the role :

 

  • To act as a point of contact for significant HR matters across the breadth of the HR function. Focus is mainly related to Morocco and a few other Western European countries.

  • To provide comprehensive guidance and support to management on HR matters as well as implementing and executing core HR processes, policies and HR strategy within the organization

  • To facilitate and guide HR project activities and HR initiatives

  • To advocate HR best practice whilst continually improving the HR Service throughout the business

  • Minimal 5 Years HR experience

Summary of the role requirements & responsibilities:

  • Support the HR BP´s and the HR Specialists / HR Center of Excellence in the delivery of functional activities, tools and methods

  • Regularly review employee legislation and actively contribute to the formulation and development of HR initiatives

  • Communicate and advise line managers and employees of any relevant changes and revising HR policy documentation

  • Guiding and facilitating hiring + layoff process

  • Counseling re. effective and appropriate HR administrative processes

  • Familiar with labor relations topics 

Professional Services (Functional Skills and Knowledge):

Requires a good understanding and application of HR policies, administration and procedures. Should be studying towards, or hold, a relevant HR qualification to supplement their practical knowledge gained through 2-3 years’ experience of working in an HR function as a generalist or business partner.

Needs to be able to seek opportunities for increasing their knowledge and skills to ensure continuing self-development. The requirement for broader basic knowledge of other concepts and procedures will enable them to understand how they sit within the organization as a whole and how they relate to HR.

Business Knowledge and Expertise:

Requires a good understanding of the HR function and their functional specialism to know how it interacts within the rest of HR globally and within EMEA. The work performed is closely related to other areas of HR across the globe.

Should have a good understanding of the IT business and the organization's corporate objectives and strategy to understand how they contribute to the business.

The position requires at least three languages ( English, French and Arabic ) fluent in writing and oral.

People Management and Leadership:

The role will be required to guide colleagues in the workplace.

Problem Solving and Solutions Development:

Requires the ability to make judgements and provide guidance based on practice and previous experience.

Requires the ability to assess the validity and applicability of previous or similar experiences and evaluate options under circumstances that are not covered by procedures.

Should be able to interpret policies and procedures in order to apply them as necessary to assist query resolution.

Managing Internal Relationships:

Must be able to exchange ideas and information in a concise and logical way and be sensitive to audience diversity.

Has an ability to counsel internal clients.

Will be able to build positive working relationships across the organization and communicate effectively at all levels.

Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills.

Ability to deal with internal clients in a sensitive and tactful manner.

Managing Relationships:

Good customer service skills in the provision of effective and efficient service to key internal clients and external partners.

Supports the HR Specialists and HR BP´s with building local relationships

Scope and Nature of Influence:

Morocco and other European countries as required.
