We are currently seeking a Cyber Resilience and Defense Practice Lead to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).

NTT DATA seeks a Cyber Resilience and Defense Practice Lead to join our Consulting organization.  This individual, working with other executives will help create offerings, generate leads, vision, solution, propose, close, drive and deliver go-to-market consulting cyber resilience activities and services as a senior subject matter expert and thought leader advocate for both internal and external leaders.  They will utilize their deep industry, business risk, and digital cyber knowledge to design, drive and deliver digital cyber resilience and defense go-to-market strategies.  This leader will be a key collaborator with other NTT Data lines-of-business/portfolio leaders, internal sales and client leadership, and clients viewed as a transformational agent driving a practice focused on delivering business outcomes.  This is a highly visible role, and we seek someone who is as comfortable with business operations as they are with technology enablement.  An individual who can understand an opportunity it presents and who has the skills and ability to be an entrepreneurial leader in a growth focused environment.

Additional Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of common information security management frameworks
  • Leverage business, leading process and digital innovation and emerging cyber security technologies to identify client opportunities and solve complex business, regulatory, risk and organizational challenges
  • Utilize understanding of market trends and cyber technology evolutions to be viewed as a “thought leader” within and between industries
  • Possesses aptitude to identify strategic solutions to business problems with enterprise-wide implications
  • Able to serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and their staff.  This includes being able to mentors clients on strategic, operational, and tactical cyber security related topics.
  • Proven ability to contribute to new business development efforts, defining offerings and driving go-to-market programs to grow a practice
  • Lead and contribute to RFP / SOW efforts, proposals and the resulting advisory and solution deliveries
  • Identify and close follow-on client opportunities
  • Collaborate with senior business and technology partners and C-level clients identifying trends, communicating competitive actions, and presenting strategic implications
  • Experience creating thought leadership and white papers and presenting in this area of expertise is preferred
  • Ability and desire to help continuously grow a practice
  • Bachelor’s degree required and MBA degree preferred
  • Both industry and consulting experience is desired

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of cyber security experience managing complex business issues and relationships within Consulting practice or business segment. 
  • 5+ years as a Chief Information Security Office (CISO) or similar business or advisory role
  • Organization leadership experience to include responsibilities spanning people, process and technology with an eye toward business risk reduction, profitability, revenue and transformation
  • Experience developing business and related technology strategies and roadmaps
  • Experience identifying, closing, and deliver new business opportunities
  • Able to travel up to 50% of time and work multiple time zones
