NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Configuration Manager to join our team in Crystal City, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).  Candidate must have an Active Top Secret Clearance. 

 

 

  • Assist in managing the Configuration Management (CM) program and monitoring project CM compliance. Cultivate and maintain relationships with IT Project Managers and System Owners.
  • Provide support for the continuing improvement of the CM Program, including suggestions for more efficient and effective CM processes, procedures, tools, and plans.
  • Participate in various IT Project review Working Groups and provides expert CM guidance.
  • Performs CM Audits, Inspections, and Spot Checks of IT projects and systems
  • Performs assessments of IT Projects to review compliance with Configuration Management requirements in support of executive milestone reviews. Ensure all CM Plans comprehensively cover all CM Standards and requirements; ensure that all CM Plans properly plan, allocate, and manage their controlled System Configurations.
  • Provide guidance to Project Managers and System Owners on CM requirements and artifacts required during Life Cycle Management (LCM), FISMA, and IT Governance Assessment processes.
  • Periodically review and update the Enterprise CM policy, Enterprise CM template, and assessment criteria regarding CM compliance (taking into account lifecycle methodology, including Agile).
  • Review and provide feedback/guidance/expertise to Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) designated systems
  • Ensure IT Projects are in compliance with Department of Justice (DOJ), FISMA, and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) regulatory, CMMI, and Industry Standard Configuration Management requirements. Report finds internally and externally
  • Produce and deliver the Monthly Change Request Activity Report for DOJ
  • May be asked to develop and conduct CM audits and spot checks on IT Projects/Systems
  • Train Information System Security Officers as to the FISMA, DOJ and NIST requirements from a CM perspective

 

 

5-7 years of relevant experience

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance.
