Position Title: Entry-level Oracle HCM Consultant

 

A group company within NTT DATA Services is currently interviewing recent and upcoming graduates with degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics fields (STEM) who possess an interest in learning cutting edge technologies in the Information Technology Consulting Industry.  Our next scheduled training class will begin in June 2018.  Recently separated or upcoming Military Veterans who possess degrees in IT/STEM are encouraged to apply.   Apply today for details on upcoming opportunities within our Campus to Career Program.

 

Selected candidates will attend a six- to eight-week training program in Plano, Texas at our Application Development Center to receive intensive training and development in cutting edge technologies.  Candidates will be required to provide their own transportation to and from training.  Housing is provided by NTT Data during the training program.

 

*We are seeking candidates who are flexible to travel and/or relocate to various geographic locations in the United States to meet our business and client needs post training completion.

Job Description:  Entry-level Oracle HCM Consultant

  • Become proficient with implementing Oracle Cloud HCM (Human Capital Management) applications functionality
  • Learn and execute on NTT’s rapid implementation methodology for Oracle Cloud HCM
  • Learn to interact with customer stakeholders to understand business needs and recommend pragmatic solutions.
  • Learn to configure modules by applying industry best practices
  • Identify business requirements and map them to the Oracle Cloud HCM functionality
  • Identify functionality gaps and develop solutions to them
  • Configure the Oracle applications and document application set-ups
  • Assist with business requirement documentation for reports, interfaces, data conversions and application extensions
  • Interact with the project team members responsible for developing reports, interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions
  • Help define testing scenarios and develop test scripts
  • Support clients with the execution of test scripts
  • Develop end-user documentation and training materials
  • Deliver end-user training
  • Contribute to status and issue reports for engagements
  • Participate in coaching, public training, on the job training, meetings and self-study to gain product knowledge

 

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science OR Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) fields of study
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder
  • Willingness to relocate to various geographic locations throughout US at the end of the training program

     

Additional desired qualifications for this role include:

  • Knowledge of Human Resources functions and processes
  • 0 - 2 years of experience with Human Resources functions
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Expert MS Word and Excel skills; PowerPoint experience is a plus
  • Agility and willingness to acquire new competencies and adapt quickly to new tasks and environments
