NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Server Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team in Frisco, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

 

 

Role Responsibilities:
- Supports one or more aspects of IS related projects, including pre-deployment analysis of the existing device configurations, developing configuration files for the replacement devices, technical support of on-site technicians during the equipment replacement, and possible on-site installation and configuration for offices in the Dallas area
- Configuration work will typically be performed during normal business hours, however the support and installation roles could include after-hours, and weekend work.
- Provide technical support and analysis for all network systems and components
- Install, modify, test, and service all converged network communication equipment
- Monitor network to ensure its reliability and performance
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve problems affecting network stability and performance
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Create & maintains detailed network documentation
- Other duties may involve, but are not limited to the administration and maintenance of Windows/Linux/AIX systems, Telephony, and vendor software systems
- Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.

 

Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of network administration experience
- Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks.
- Experience with platform operation systems (router platforms, LAN, WAN, and router protocols) and how they interact with the network
- Working knowledge of Windows Server 2003 and newer Operating Systems
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field

 

Preferences:
- Undergraduate degree and 2-4 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 0-2 years relevant experience.
- VMware VCP certification
- Experience in a Healthcare environment

- Ability to maintain Netapp to assist with the support of IBM SAN and NAS storage

- CCNA certification
