NTT DATA Services is looking for a Senior Director Cloud to lead the global Cloud Solutions Architect team and the Cloud Advisory consulting practice.   The Cloud Solutions Architect team designs technical solutions for public, private and hybrid cloud and the Cloud Advisory consulting practice provides services to develop cloud strategies for clients. The candidate will be a dynamic leader who excels at leading technical and strategic teams. The individual will be able to carry on cloud transformational and strategic conversations with senior level executives covering concepts such as platform management, agile/DevOps, continuous integration, microservices, and containers. The Senior Director Cloud will work closely with NTT DATA Services’ sales leadership to support cloud opportunities for new and existing clients. The verticals will include commercial, manufacturing, financial services and insurance, healthcare and life sciences industries and public sector.  The success of the role is measured by overall cloud business growth.

 

Role Responsibilities:                                           

  • Provide senior technology perspective on industry trends, competitive landscape and market/regulatory changes leveraging industry contacts, vendors, and strategic technology partner relationships to include leading conversations with C-Suite executives on cloud strategy, transformation and service capabilities
  • Define related overall Cloud management strategy/roadmap, provide strategic technology perspective to management and recommend innovations, aligned with short term & long term business/client requirements, enterprise priorities and industry trends.
  • Provide thought leadership covering Cloud-native concepts such as Agile/DevOps frameworks, XP/continuous integration, microservices, and containers.
  • Lead and develop a team of cloud solution architects that are responsible for translating client’s business requirements into custom technical solutions using public, private, hybrid cloud and cloud managed services and developing financial models, architectural diagrams, SOWs, service definitions and service level expectations. 
  • Lead the cloud advisory consulting practice that provides services to design, develop, educate and advise on cloud strategies utilizing various methodologies and tools 
  • Provide feedback to Cloud Portfolio management leaders to improve cloud offering and increase cloud revenue/win rate and margin targets
  • Review key cloud proposals for technical integrity, quantification of risk, and strategic direction prior to presentation to client.

 

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of I.T. Services Leadership and 12+ years of IT consulting, solution architecture (designing and implementing standards-based IT solutions), or IT delivery experience is required
  • 3+ years of experience with enterprise public and private cloud solutions.
  • Must be technically proficient with AWS and Microsoft Azure; PaaS, containers and serverless technologies; DevOps, cloud-native, micro services and Infrastructure as Code
  • Expertise in security focused network topology design and systems design including virtualization and data center integration/migration and knowledge of regulatory and compliance programs including, SOC 2 Type 2, PCI, NIST 800-53 and GDPR
  • Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills and lead C-Suite
  • Advanced understanding of costing and P&Ls
  • Must be able to travel as needed, typically around 50%.

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Certifications with Azure, AWS, RedHat, Google, Pivotal or VMware
  • Experience in optimizing existing on-premise applications for public cloud
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or Computer Science
  • Familiarity with cloud migration, cloud platform management and configuration management tools
