NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Infrastructure Principal Architect to join our team in Dallas, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for designing and architecting solutions in Infrastructure Outsourcing area (including End user computing, Data Centre & Cloud Services, Network and Security Services) across various industry verticals globally.
  • Apply domain expertise and innovative ideas to architect/design winning solutions by collaborating closely working with Bid Managers, onsite sales teams, internal delivery organizations, Domain SME’s and 3rd party vendors
  • Understand customer needs/requirements (via workshops, meetings etc) and translate these needs into a winning solution approach and position NTT DATA to win new business
  • Lead the overall solution approach including transformation approach (from as-is to to-be state) to enable business outcomes for customer
  • Acts as an advocate for the client, as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems
  • Composes RFP/RFI responses and applicable services agreements (e.g. Statements of Work, SLA documentation, etc.) that specify processes, technology, staffing, deliverables, commitments, risk, and project management aspects of a solution.

 

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years of combined experience in either/or Business Development, Pre-Sales and Solution Design including Proposal Development, Cost/effort estimations, transition plans, deal structures, SLA definition, SLA penalties onsite/ offshore team composition, delivery models, transformation and service coverage
  • Expert understanding of foundational architectural concepts (design, business technology strategy, quality management, human dynamics, and IT environment)
  • Experience in architecting solutions, ability to understand customer pain points, requirements and translate these into a winning solution approach, responding to RFPs for infrastructure management Outsourcing Services
  • Strong client facing and communication skills and capable to independently think, conduct customer workshops articulate and comprehend customer pain points in technology and commercial areas for providing solutions.
  • Good knowledge of end-to-end IT Infrastructure operations, ITIL, Service Management and infrastructure landscape
