NTT DATA Services currently seeks a PeopleSoft Financial Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team in McLean, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Duties and Responsibilities for this position include (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis):

  • Responsible for providing Tier 2, 3 and/or 4 support on all aspects of PeopleSoft FSCM 8.9 and 9.2
  • Provide 24x7 support as required
  • Provide root cause analysis and resolution
  • Support per Service Level Agreement
  • Apply Oracle delivered PeopleSoft Images
  • Perform application and PeopleTools upgrade
  • Meets with users, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to define and document business requirements
  • Translates end-user requirements into PeopleSoft-specific configurations and/or identifies required customizations to PeopleSoft FSCM to meet business requirements
  • Maps requirements to test scripts and validates current functionality against identified business processes and test scenarios
  • Develop functional/Technical specifications for a proposed Application and/or functionality Changes / new modules to an existing Application
  • Perform break-fix activities
  • Deliver technical solutions in a timely fashion meeting business requirement and following development standards; this includes: technical analysis, technical documentation, design, development, testing, debugging of the FSCM PeopleSoft application
  • Analyze, define and design Functional / technical solution for PeopleSoft enhancement and work towards continuous improvement during enhancements, Image Implementation and production support stages
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities and take ownership of all development related tasks and issues
  • Ability to work independently and drive deliverables to completion
  • Support client team during UAT in test issue resolutions (code fixes and revisions)
  • Train and coach junior resources

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least one Implementation and/or two Application upgrades
  • Minimum six years of experience in PeopleSoft Finance 9.2 and 8.9
  • Minimum six years of experience in Application designer, PeopleSoft, Component Interface, Excel to CI, SQR
  • Minimum six years of experience in GL/AP modules
  • Minimum six years of experience in Allocation (GL)
  • Minimum five years of experience in Application Workflow Engine

 

Desired qualifications for this role include:

  • Must have experience with AP/GL/AR/BI modules
  • Good understanding of PeopleSoft Security
  • Must have experience on Implementation, Support & Upgrade projects
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, troubleshooting and conceptual skills
  • Ability to work in a cross functional team environment and onshore-offshore model
  • Is results oriented and has a high degree of accountability, commitment and responsibility
  • Should have experience of entire project lifecycle
  • Should have very good communication skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction
  • Ability to train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity
  • Ability to detect inefficiencies or conflicts in systems and processes and help to identify effective improvements
  • Must be able to work a non-standard work week, weekends, and holidays to support 24x7 operations
  • Must be able to work in fast paced & high demanding client environment
  • Familiarity with SOX protocols, Change Management and Release Management principles and processes
  • Understanding of ITIL Service Support concepts including Incident, Request and Problem Management

 

Travel: We are seeking candidates local to the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area or who can work remotely

Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
