NTT DATA Services currently seeks a BPO Medical Records Coding & Transcripting Associate to join our team in Dubai, Dubayy (AE-DU), United Arab Emirates (AE).

 

 

In these roles you will be responsible for:

  1. Checking eligibility and benefits verification for treatments, hospitalizations, and procedures
  2. Obtaining referrals and pre-authorizations as required for procedures
  3. Reviewing patient bills for accuracy and completeness, and obtaining any missing information
  4. Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 Coding
  5. Coordination with all Insurance companies
  6. Assign and sequence all codes for services rendered, Reviewing patients medical records
  7. Coding treatment information using Common Procedure Terminology (CPT) codes
  8. Contact physicians and other health care professionals with questions about treatments or diagnostic tests given to patients with regard to coding procedures
  9. Supplies correct ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes on all diagnoses provided
    Comply with all legal requirements regarding coding procedures and practices
  10. Evaluates and ensures that all claims denied or underpaid inappropriately by payors are identified, appealed and reversed
  11. Works closely with appropriate departments/areas e.g. HIM/coding and medical team to review and obtain medical documentation required to facilitate denial appeals process
  12. Continuously reviews applicable regulations, updates and maintains current knowl
  13. Tracking and maintaining metrics for a variety of data includes attendance, productivity, etc.

Requirements for this role include:

  1. Verbal communication skills (English and Arabic)
  2. Willingness to work in  different shifts
  3. Willingness to work from different facility
  4. Minimum two (2) years recent experience in Medical Coding, Eligbility and Authorization, hospital billing, hospital collections, payor contracting or claims department within a health insurance setting
  5. Work experience in a Revenue Cycle department
  6. Proficiency in the use of PCs and MS Office suite
