  • Lead and Develop a number of geo-dispersed diverse partner teams of QA Resources 
  • Take responsibility for quality of all new QA hires within C&IF through ensuring the appropriate partner 
  • Provide leadership, guidance, training and mentoring to improve the quality and efficiency across Squads (Dev/Testers, Automation Testers and NFT).
  • Define the test strategy, delivering to Agile methodology and covering test data management, functional and performance test automation & NFT
  • Conduct quality reviews/checks on all the test deliverables and provide the guidance and recommendations
  • Participate in regular meetings with Factory Leadership team to communicate accomplishments, plans and issues as well as any risks to the Test progress including UAT and  NFT Teams
  • Conduct defect analysis and product quality assessments based on trend analysis.
  • Track and manage KPI metrics to alignment with enterprise test strategy and tools, driving automation ROI, reporting and continually enhancing automation%
  • Develop and maintain Test schedules, track and forecast project costs and labour hours, and manage project risks.
  • Manage and Escalate RAID with mitigation plan.
  • Collaborate with service partners and suppliers to deliver projects to high quality, on time
  • Support and Guide the team member on Test queries
  • Review the different Test phases to ensure smooth deliveries.
  • Own the solution for providing testing status reports and updates
  • Ensure quality of the complete set of test processes and methodologies, implementing Continuous Improvements wherever appropriate
  • Perform Technical Analysis & defect management as needed
  • Conduct defect analysis and product quality assessments based on functional defects.
  • Recommend and implement new and innovative approaches for Testing.
  • Collaboration with sponsors / stakeholders to ensure that all critical stakeholder interests are met. Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders within Factory and Businesses
  • Conduct quality reviews/checks on all the test deliverables and provide the guidance and recommendation

 

Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in IT (Ideally from a Banking Domain)
  • 5+ year’s Test Management
  • Strong understanding of testing multi-tier (front end, middle tier and backend) web and mobile applications
  • Strong Understanding of Automation testing
  • Good understanding on dev-ops tools and concepts including CI/CD
  • Ability to understand the system design, system integrations to lead the technical discussions with the team as well as engineering leads and testing automation & NFT leads
  • Experience working in Jira/Zephyr for Test and Defect Management (test scenarios/cases, defects, reporting) and other tools such as confluence
  • Strong test estimation skills on manual as well as automation projects
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with ability to present complex ideas in clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical groups.
  • Strong Experience on leading large Testing team to ensure the deliverables meets the Project requirements and the specified quality and timeline parameter.
  • Experience in developing test strategy, Test planning, scheduling, allocation of test engineers to programs, ensuring test environment availability, generation of test reports, communication of test status and networking to coordinate test activities
  • Experience in delivering end to end testing in multiple projects.
  • Excellent Team management and stakeholder management skill.
  • Strong Leadership skills and be able to manage the managers and leaders under him.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Experience in driving Continuous Improvements in the team/area
  • Ability to develop and nurture solution with limited (or changing) information
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
