We are currently seeking a Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team in Florence, Kentucky (US-KY), United States (US).

The Data Center Team is responsible for overall Data Center Management for both the Florence Ky and Cincinnati OH locations, including Infrastructure and Operations for a multitude of clients across the globe.  In support of this, we are excited to train a new teammate.

**This will be three 12 hour shifts with alternating Saturdays.

Role Responsibilities

Daily work will consist of any or all of the following primary duties:

• Data Center’s Single point of contact for incoming calls and group email
• Respond to alarms in timely manner and update tickets as required
• Interacts with multiple ticketing systems to organize the teams daily Change Board and workflow
• Verifies that all visitors to the Data Center floor meet NTT’s Access Requirements
• Escorts vendors to the Data Center Floor
• Shipping, Receiving and Inventory Management
• Backup Tape Handling
• Basic hardware support
• Other duties as directed that support world class management of the Data Center
• Intermediate hardware (break/fix), troubleshooting connectivity issues and replacement of hardware components
• Installation / De-installation of hardware, cabling and maintaining of database
• Full Time Position in a Dynamic 24x7x365 organization.
• Shift could include 12 hours, 3 days per week then 4 days a week following, beginning 7pm.
• This position will include rotating weekends and holidays.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in an IT role

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to type at least 25 wpm

• Technical experience, technical aptitude or A+ Certification
• Cisco Monitoring Tools
• Solid time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Detail oriented
• Time management
