NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Exchange Email Administrator - Frankfort, KY to join our team in Frankfort, Kentucky (US-KY), United States (US).

 

 

We are seeking an experienced MS Exchange Email Administrator to join our team of enterprise-level messaging systems specialists.   The supported system is based on Microsoft technology, including on-premise Exchange 2010, Office 365, and G Suite.   This team supports 40K on premise mailboxes.   Note:  This position will require participation in an on-call rotation schedule requiring 24x7 support every 4-6 weeks or as needed.

 

Description of Duties:

  • Administration of multiple email platforms including G Suite Enterprise GMail, Microsoft Outlook/Exchange and Office 365.
  • Administration of content/spam filtering systems such as McAfee, ProofPoint, Mimecast etc.
  • Proactively monitoring and remediating potential issues with invalid blacklisting issues.
  • Proactive monitoring and troubleshooting email deliverability issues and concerns, including remediating emails incorrectly flagged as spam by recipient systems.
  • Proactive monitoring and troubleshooting mail log data
  • Email-related DNS best-practice considerations such as MX, SPF, DMARC, and DKIM records.
  • Engaging and supporting end-users - both internal and customer/vendor-related as point-of-contact - as part of troubleshooting and remediating email deliverability issues.
  • Proactively handling email related data security concerns, including end-user management of phishing scams, malware attachments, etc.
  • Analysis and implementation of email deliverability best-practices.
  • Ability to take initiative and work alone, as well as work with other members of our IT team.
  • Strong communication and customer service/support skills, including writing appropriate documentation for both non-technical end-users and technical IT team members.
  • Strong project and time management skills, including handling expected deliverables in a timely manner.- Participates in team on-call rotation for afterhours/weekend support.
  • Demonstrates the ability to effectively use an Incident/Change management ticketing system such as HEAT or FrontRange.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years Exchange Administration experience

 

Additional Required Skills:

  • 2+ years Office 365 or G Suite Administration experience
  • Experience troubleshooting and customer support for complex technical issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills to automate processes
  • Experience working in a multi-team environment
  • Active Directory Administration

 

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Mobile Device Management (MDM) Administration 
  • Microsoft Azure experience
  • Project Lead experience
