NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Vendor Management Project Manager - Frankfort, KY to join our team in Frankfort, Kentucky (US-KY), United States (US).



The Vendor Management Project Manager will manage all activities related to the vendor relationships, contract terms and conditions, and product and/or service level performance. The PM will be responsible to manage the vendor to ensure connectivity to other information systems, external software sources and externally sourced IT services via establishing and maintaining relationships with various levels of staff and management.


This position creates contract, performance and relationship management procedures; develops and/or enforces existing policies and procedures that all IT project staff must adhere to when working with the vendor. The PM will monitor and report on vendor performance in the areas that include quality, capacities, systems and responsiveness. The PM will work with the vendor and any budgeting teams to ensure the project costs are within the project’s established budget, work with the vendor business analysts to help translate functional requests into contract specs; and collects customer reporting requirements and develops vendor scorecards and dashboards for presenting results.


The PM collects, consolidates and communicates detailed summary vendor results to executive management on vendor performance. Analyzes problem areas and helps resolves disputes; and develops comprehensive Statement of Works (SOWs), tasks, deliverables and schedules to assist the subject matter experts with all areas of vendor involvement.


In addition, they will make use of clearly defined Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) reports to assess vendor success. Schedule recurring meetings to discuss issues, both positive and negative, with the vendor. Develop an effective relationship model so the vendor receives the full spectrum of feedback rather than only hearing about problems.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in Vendor Management experience, including developing a vendor management strategy.
  • 2+ years’ Project Management experience.


Preferred Skills:

  • 2+ years’ experience working with large scale healthcare-related projects including hospital information systems. 
  • 2+ years’ experience working with vendor and contract management.
  • 2+ years’ experience working with government-related projects.
  • 2+ years’ experience working with HL7 messaging.
  • 2+ years’ experience working on public sector healthcare-related projects using HL7 messaging assisting with system and user acceptance testing efforts.
