We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity Certification and Accreditation Analyst to join our team in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Day to Day Job Duties:

  • Serves as a cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) with regards to Authorization of information systems and all associated cybersecurity policies and procedures. 
  • Fully versed in the general tenets supporting the overall implementation of the customer's authorization process, to include supporting cybersecurity policy, procedures, and processes. 
  • Performs the customer's cybersecurity process while either authorizing an information system or serving as a SME for an information system undergoing authorization. 
  • Possess an understanding of how the security controls identified in the NIST 800-53 apply to the process of assessing and authorizing a large organization’s IT infrastructure such as clients in which there is a compilation of large and small enclaves, AIS applications and outsourced IT processes. 
  • Determines the applicable severity value for an identified vulnerability (e.g., non-compliant security control), and determines the possible ramifications on the system’s current or future authorization. 
  • Required to brief senior management on the progress or results of an information system undergoing the authorization process. 
  • Works with client's Information Security, Risk Management Framework (RMF), system and or functional managers, system developers, and professionals at the enterprise and enclave levels to ensure implementation of appropriate IA controls throughout the overall life cycle of the platforms across the enterprise.
  • Supports client in providing a continuous monitoring capability consistent with RMF guidelines that ensures the EP program sustains a viable ATO throughout its lifecycle.
  • This monitoring will entail providing inputs and updates into the eMASS system in coordination with the client's EP Systems Security Manager.
  •  Provide RMF expertise to ensure the EP program meets all requirements to maintain a full Continuous ATO (cATO)accreditation.
  •  Coordinate client's Enterprise Risk Management Framework (RMF) plan with J6 ISSM.
  •  Evaluate continuous monitoring requirements outlined in the customer’s Enterprise RMF plan within the context of current program processes.
  •  Produce documentation and other artifacts needed to comply with controls proscribed by NIST SP 800-53.
  •  Monitor systems security and ATO requirements using eMASS; provide updates as required.
  • Assist the EP PM in creating the necessary documentation to fulfill ATO milestones.
  • Develop and document standards and guides for the implementation of IA solutions including but not limited to, compliance, system security design, security testing, IA assessments and system architectures.   
  • Review all established, proposed, and draft policies and provide assessments of the impact of the proposed policy changes on client's Information Technology (IT) Services and IA architecture, if applicable. 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Min of ten (10) years supporting IT related contracts with an undergraduate degree or equivalent years of cybersecurity experience in lieu of degree.
  • Min of five (5) years of relevant C&A experience; Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST C&A experience; DOD cybersecurity experience 
  • Current active Secret security clearance (or higher)     
  • ServiceNow Certification
  •  IAM Level III (CISSP, CISM, GSLC or CCISO) 

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  •   Experience in assessing security controls and conducting authorization reviews for large, complex organizations.
