NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Network Design Sr. Analyst to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).

 

 

Role Responsibilities
Interact with a large variety of clients to provide network technical support for complex network related incidents, changes and projects
Gather requirements, analyze technical networking issues and the develop options and recommendations
Plan, design, install, and maintain local and wide area networks, including the recommendation of system software and hardware
Research, analyze, plan, and develop hardware and software requirements
Coordinate, install, and maintain appropriate systems software and hardware

 

Requirements

 

3+ years of experience:

 

      1. Network operational support and design to include internal corporate networks and data centers as well as client networks.

2. ITIL knowledge and experience as related to supporting critical KPIs, SLAs and NPS requirements.

3. Strong customer support experience in a standard work week shift to include assignment as a primary support engineer and participation in an on-call rotation

4. Network routing & switching support and design. Strong ITIL experience (change, incident & request). Strong customer experience

3+ years of hands on network design/support with Cisco, Force 10 products


Ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts, as well as knowledge or related networking disciplines
Full understanding of WAN/LAN internetworking including design elements including cost versus performance tradeoffs, protocol interoperability, network architecture development and requirements for testing / proof of concept
Advanced knowledge of platform operation systems (router platforms, LAN, WAN, and router protocols) and how they interact with the network
Advanced skills in gathering requirements and designing/implementing/supporting network solutions
Advanced skills and knowledge and adherence to Change Management processes
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Strong customer service skills; interfaces with customers, end users, partners and associates
Additionally, the candidate must work well within a team, and adapt easily to change
CCNA
Good troubleshooting skills
Customer facing skills
Participate in scheduled 12*7 oncall rotation & supporting Network infrastructure

Preferences
Bachelor’s Degree
Completion of ITIL Awareness/Foundation training.
Basic knowledge & understanding of F5 Load Balancers and Checkpoint Firewalls
