This Senior Project Manager is a solution-oriented leader that can apply program management techniques to facilitate, coordinate with excellent communication skills to collaborate.  The Project Manager will be adept at building and maintaining relationships at technical and business levels; is highly analytical, customer obsessed, adaptable, and enjoys bringing structure and discipline to ambiguous spaces to realize measurable value for the business.

 

Responsibilities and Duties  

 

  1. Manage end to end Project lifecycle – initiation, planning, execution (including design, build, and test), monitoring and controlling, and closure
  2. Manage project status- this includes weekly and monthly project status reporting, presenting project status in portfolio reviews, independent reviews, and upon request, with little to no notice.
  3. Manage project schedules – this includes creating and actively managing detailed project plans in approved format (this includes Microsoft Project Plan), tracking all project dependencies, and proactive project schedule tracking.
  4. Manage Project Financials- this includes creating funding requests, contributing to business case financial models, tracking and logging project costs against an approved budget, updating and submitting bimonthly forecasts in accordance with the Client wave schedule, conducting financial reconciliations of projects, and working with project stakeholders to ensure project budgets are closing managed, monitored, and held to.
  5. Risk & Issue Management- this includes tracking all project risks and issues using the client Risk and Issue Dashboard, actively updating risks and issues, incorporating risk and issue management into overall project management, and articulating risks and issues as part of project reporting.
  6. Communication and Escalation Management- this includes escalating risks and issues when necessary, developing and adhering to project communication plans, and timely and concise communication with project stakeholders.
  7. Collaboration- this includes stakeholder partnerships, cross functional collaboration, and collaborating with other project managers at Client.
  8. Resource Management- this includes Roles & Responsibilities definition, managing resource pools, realizing need for and requesting resources, and working with resource managers to ensure accurate staffing on project forecasts.
  9. Compliance- this includes complying with all client policies and procedures.
  10. Project KPI Management- this includes meeting all project KPI’s
  11. Change Management- this includes recognizing when a change is introduced that impacts scope, resource, schedule, and budget allocations and obtaining approval from project stakeholders to accept change impact in accordance with the change request process.
  12. Project Documentation and Sharing in a Shared Location- this includes developing, contributing to, organizing, and sharing all project documentation in a shared location per the Project Execution Framework
  13. Extended focus areas- this includes facilitating deliverables from relevant stakeholder groups which may include:
  1. Enterprise architecture
  2. Regulatory and compliance
  3. Information security
  4. Data privacy
  5. Financial requests and approvals
  6. Infrastructure

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field of study, Master’s degree is a plus
  • 12+ years of relevant work experience as a Infrastructure / Facility Project Manager
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile/SAFe is a plus
  • This position requires onsite 2x per week
