We are currently seeking a Remote Halifax Jr Technical Recruiter to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA).

As a result, we are actively seeking a results-oriented, hands-on Recruiter to help us identify, attract, and hire some of top IT talent in North America.

The successful applicant for this position will start in April 2022 and will complete three weeks of training with their start group to prepare for their initial team assignments.

In this role you will be responsible for:

 

  • Identifying, engaging, and hiring high-quality prospects and candidates for NTT DATA Services.
  • Utilizing candidate souring techniques including job boards, social networking, database mining, referrals, cold calling, and other advanced recruiting techniques
  • Managing candidates through the full life-cycle from initial engagement through on-boarding
  • Working with hiring managers to align business forecast with talent acquisition needs.
  • Managing applicant tracking system, maintain accurate candidate documentation to ensure legal compliance with employment practices, policies, procedures, and regional regulations.
  • Building a strong network of top talent, gain market intelligence and assess candidates to gauge alignment for a specific role or functional area.
  • Providing guidance on search strategies to locate and attract niche skills in the IT space.
  • Maintains high level of integrity and business ethics.

 

Required Experience:

 

  • 6+ months of experience in a customer facing/sales role where you were responsible for:
    • Meeting/exceeding goals in a fast-paced work environment
    • Planning and prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure
    • Demonstrating initiative and the ability to work independently
    • Establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with internal/external stakeholders
  • 1+ year(s) of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Desired - Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary degree
