We are currently seeking a Tech Lead - Informatica Power Center to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA).

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Analysis, design, and development of code changes for break fixes, small enhancement, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Communicate designs and technical requirements with technical teams and lead the technical implementation of the overall maintenance and small enhancement tasks/initiatives
• Guide and lead the creation of the system and detailed technical design.
• The Technical Lead is ultimately responsible for sound detailed design
• Investigate new technologies and guide developers to assist in the investigation

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science/Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 10 years of related technical work experience in the implementation of complex, large scale, enterprise-wide projects including analysis, design, core development, and delivery.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with expertise in Informatica ETL, Informatica Power Center, Informatica Master Data, Informatica Cloud Integration, and Informatica Data Quality.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Informatica/Redshift/Db2/DM/IDQ, etc.
• Minimum of 3 years of AWS technologies and services including but not limiting to Redshift, DynamoDB, etc.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with Informatica MDM tool is good to have
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understand the scope of the work and ask for clarification.
• Should have advance SQL skills. Including complex PL/SQL coding skills.
• Should be able to navigate Unix scripts and create code as required for the project
• Should have prior experience working with the Dimensional model; understand data warehousing concepts.
• Should know how to work with SCD logic
• Experience in AWS managed databases such as Redshift and DynamoDB.
