We are currently seeking a Business Analyst -Data Engineer to join our team in Heredia, Heredia (CR-H), Costa Rica (CR).

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Identify and analyze business needs, gather requirements, and define scope and objectives to make business decisions.
• Recommend solutions or improvements to business processes using new technology or alternative uses of existing technology, minimizing business impact and divergence from target architecture
• Perform data analysis and mapping
• Responsible for project delivery and actively contributes to data analysis, design, and testing.  Plan and manages solution’s acceptance (acceptance testing, training, change management)
• Propose solution designs that meet requirements, and minimize business impact and divergence from target architecture
• Map problems to potential data solutions and collaborates with engineers, architects, and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision
• Proactively manages stakeholder expectations
• You will work under minimal supervision and independently handle complex issues while referring only to the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Proven experience as Business Analyst or related experience on medium to large scale projects
• Advanced English level
• Backlog generation and refinement
• Agile Methodologies such as Scrum
• Experience in Data Analysis, Data Visualization and Data Management
• Experience in Data Testing and Data Quality
• Experience using one or more of these technologies: Hadoop, SQL Server, SAP, Oracle, Teradata, Python, among others
• Strong communicator, verbal and written
• Minimum of four years of related work experience
• Other minimum qualifications may apply
