We are currently seeking a Entry Level Business Development Representative to join our team in Herndon, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

NTT Data is seeking an entry level Business Development Representative who will primarily be responsible for collaborating with Senior Business Development (BD) / Sales Executives to drive identification, development and capture of IT Solution and Program Management opportunities. This role will include assisting with proposal preparation and competitive intelligence.
 
Responsibilities Include:
- Fulfilling an entry-level corporate BD/Sales position while learning lead generation skills and approaches
- Receive regular coaching/mentoring from senior BD/Sales team members and Go to Market (GTM) team leader
- Update progress of lead generation to GTM leader
- Partner with internal organizations such as Pricing, Proposal Development Center, Talent Acquisition, and Contracts
- Work with the Senior team members to add new opportunities into the CRM opportunity tracking toolset
- Support activities related to marketing opportunities through various industry events and engagements to include the following:
      - Submit requests for Social Media posts
      - Research and coordinate corporate opportunities at key industry events   
      - Research and coordinate with leadership article submissions in various industry publications.
- Conduct research on various government departments, agencies, and industry competitors
- Maintain discretion and independent judgment while proposing internal policy and process recommendations to managers
- Act as an escalation point, once acclimated, for less experienced team members
- Obtain a thorough knowledge of NTT DATA’s digital offerings/capabilities and be able to identify how these align to client needs
- Obtain basic industry and competitor knowledge

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree

- Minimum 4 years' experience (practical experience and/or internships) in business development 

- U.S. Citizen

Desired skills/ preferred qualifications:

- Strong project management skills, with keen attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint 
- Strong customer relationship and service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
