We are currently seeking a Configuration QA SME to join our team in Herndon - Fully Remote, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).


Position Overview: 

NTT DATA is looking for a Configuration QA SME to support a critical client program. This program will support the establishment of a central information hub to support the operations and management oversight of the client’s Next Generation Global Health Supply Chain Suite of Programs (NextGen). The client’s global health efforts are focused to prevent child and maternal deaths, control the HIV/AIDS epidemic, control and eliminate malaria, increase and sustain access to safe, voluntary, high-quality family planning and reproductive health care, and combat infectious diseases. The client is developing a supply chain capability based on Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) solutions.  The COTS products will be integrated to share data, and the resulting core capability with the have numerous interfaces to existing client and partner systems. We seek QA specialists who are adept at conducting quality assurance activities such as software testing.   


The client requires that its APIs are reliable, usable, secure, and efficient over their lifecycle. This quality standard requires continuous sustainment of existing APIs. As part of the DevSecOps operating model, software, infrastructure, and security engineers must work together to define, implement, and automate Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes. 


Position's General Duties and Tasks: 

In the role of Configuration Quality Assurance SME, you will provide expertise in applying Agile principles for software QA engineering and testing through the development and executions of software test plans that identify software problems and their causes. You will assist in establishing a proper QA environment to test software by working with our team to set testing criteria, and develop testing scenarios, and automate testing for repeatability.  Automated testing is highly desired so that we can incorporate that into our Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, reducing risk and mundane testing. You will facilitate the implementation of QA processes that ensure effective outcomes in terms of performance by analyzing data on relevant metrics, drawing inferences, and identifying correct, preventive, and improvement action plans with a view to improve overall software quality. 


Basic Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in software QA and testing , including:

    • Minimum 4 years’ experience in developing software test plans and various operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and MAC OS 


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Good to solid knowledge of any one of the Quality Assurance Models (ISO 9001, 20000, 27001, CMMI, PCMM, Six Sigma techniques).  

  • Good to solid knowledge of audit process and auditing skills.  

  • Solid knowledge of MS Office applications.  

  • Good knowledge of Quality Management.  

  • Good skills in process documentation.  

  • Statistical techniques and quantitative analysis skills.  

  • Good to solid Project Management skills.  

  • Experience with ServiceNow Excellent communications and relationship skills.

For Colorado Candidates

In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rules, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation

for roles that may be hired in Colorado. For a candidate in the state of Colorado only, the starting pay range for this role

is $82,400 - $151,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including actual work

location, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications.
