NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Solutions Executive to join our team in Herndon, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).



NTT DATA Federal Services is currently seeking a Solution Executive responsible for working with multiple internal organizations such as Sales, Capture, Pricing, etc. in a lead role to identify, solution, and progress new business opportunities as part of the Go-to-Market team. The Solution Executive is primarily accountable for new business solutioning, providing oversight and management of all components thereof, and providing support to capture management, market analysis, strategy development, managing strategy execution, and monitoring progression of identified “must win” opportunities.

This individual is the primary resource responsible for designing, describing, and managing the solution engineering in relation to specific client business problems. In short, the Solution Executive is the person in charge of introducing and leading the overall technical vision for a particular solution. He/she will partner with other internal affiliate organizations as well as meeting with the client to gather requirements, communicate NTT Data’s capabilities and core offerings in an effort to positon NTT Data for strategic opportunities.

Specific responsibilities:
Defining to-be processes, identifying dependencies, key integration points, and building the roadmap for the overall solution and extending the solution across multiple offerings and various groups within the organization
Providing a clear business vision and provides recommendations around implementation choices, system design, integrations and system enhancements
Interfacing with business and technology partners and alliances to develop solutions and guide implementation teams towards a common architecture vision across technology, processes, and tools
Communicating business needs to develop integrated solutions across business areas and application systems including infrastructure components
Aligning Business and Technology Strategies and owns strategic responsibility for client proposed solutions
Assisting with the procurement of technology solutions and vendor(s) that optimally meets the customers’ requirements while tapping into the most effective technology and services to be found through a competitive bid process.

Strong knowledge of infrastructure solutions (in specific areas related to data center optimization, cloud hosting, disaster recovery and backup, IT security, and/or IT operations), project management and system architecture
Desire 10+ years of ITSM experience
ITIL v.3 certified preferred
Good knowledge of development methodologies including Waterfall, RUP, and Agile development
Experience as a Solution Architect for various size solutions supporting Government acquisitions
10+ years developing, deploying, or managing mission critical IT systems
10+ years strategic planning and management experience
Undergraduate Degree or equivalent education and years of experience (two years of education for each year of required experience)
Experience working with virtual teams on business development, capture, and proposal efforts for very large (>$100M) pursuits
Must have demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within and as the lead of a high performance team; a highly motivated self-starter
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
10+ years of direct experience with the DoD, IC and Federal agencies operating in multiple markets
