NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Senior IT Infrastructure Services Manager to join our team in Lincoln, Nebraska (US-NE), United States (US).

 

 

Role Responcibilities

Oversee the implementation and operation of all technology infrastructure deployed within the deparment which includes the data center, network and server services, telecommunications, service monitoring, user support/help desk,  servers, storage and related software, databases, and middleware.

Identifies, facilitates and maintains appropriate relationships with IT stakeholders, executive leadership and vendors to drive proper alignment on business and operational goals in contracts and to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives.

Create and execute roadmaps outlining the technology strategy and the investments in infrastructure to ensure systems are secure, stay consistent with industry best practices and enable the Company’s strategic plans across all business areas.

Hire, Onboard, Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise team managers and leads and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work, which includes workingto resolve complex technical incidents in the IT infrastructure; support incident and problem resolution.

Plan and manage the IT infrastructure budget, make recommendations to improve overall cost effectiveness of infrastructure and operations. Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
Identify scope, propose, and execute infrastructure improvement projects to maintain and improve infrastructure capabilities, capacity, and reliability.

Ensure comprehensive disaster recovery architecture is maintained and operations are in place to ensure compliance with required RPOs and RTOs during business continuity events (emphasizing but not limited to storage area networks and redundant, highly-available server and network architectures).

Ensure that system standards and access controls are properly implemented and maintained to meet compliance and security requirements.

 

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience;
Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience managing IT infrastructure teams and technologies (data/voice networking, server, database, mainframe, pc/laptop, service desk…), ideally in an ITIL based environment
Minimum 5+ years of experience managing complex IT infrastructure projects involving solutioning, provisioning, management and change in a large global environment.
Minimum 3+ years of experience with procuring, managing, deploying IT infrastructure components (i.e network routers and switches, circuits, server hardware and software, phone systems, mainframe, etc)
Demonstrated critical thinking and planning at a strategic, global level. Ability to translate strategic plans into specific objectives, and to create and execute project plans to achieve objectives.
Strong financial management skills in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

 

Must have skills

Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience managing IT infrastructure teams and technologies (data/voice networking, server, database, mainframe, pc/laptop, service desk in an ITIL based environment
Minimum 5+ years of experience managing complex IT infrastructure projects involving solutioning, provisioning, management and change in a large global environment.
Minimum 3+ years of experience with procuring, managing, deploying IT infrastructure components (i.e network routers and switches, circuits, server hardware and software, phone systems, mainframe, etc)

 

Other Desired Skills
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to technology issues
Experience with project conflict resolution and ability to address issues
Expertise in common knowledge-worker tools (Windows, Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) and specialized project/program management software
Certified Project Manager PMI/PMP
ITIL Knowledge/Certification
