NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Business Continuity Senior Specialist to join our team in London, United Kingdom.

It's a fact of life, things can, and often do, go wrong. But what happens when they do? Here at NTT DATA Services we're recruiting for a disaster recovery expert, an expert in business continuation. Would you know what to do if things go wrong? If you do, then we'd like to hear from you because we live for this stuff. This is a key technical role on a team that manages the Business Continuity Program for a very large Global client with offices and facilities in over 27 countries world wide. The team works with client site staff to develop Business Continuity Plans, test strategies, and to ensure documentation of the program is up to date. The team also supports worldwide training of the client's staff.
 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Consult and design customer site level business continuity strategies including secondary sites for workarea recovery
  • Develop and maintain customer site level business continuity families of plans
  • Maintain and refresh customer site business continuity plans in place
  • Conduct tests of business continuity plans and documents
  • Train customer staffs in business continuity plans and execution
  • Interface with Customer’s local and corporate senior management on business recovery Issues & Mitigations
  • Provide periodic governance reports to Customer’s local and corporate senior management on status of business continuity program and in-scope locations
  • Understand Customer’s contract with NTT Data Services and meet assigned deliverables per contractual requirements
  • When called upon, assist customer in invocation and execution of business continuity plans.

 

Desired skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Certified in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Profession as recognized by internationally accepted sanctioning bodies: Disaster Recovery Institute or Business Continuity Institute
  • Extensive experience of certified business continuity or disaster recovery experience or suitable equivalent 
  • Demonstrated customer facing communications and problem resolution skills.
