NTT DATA is currently seeking a Scrum Master to join our IRS EDOS team in Washington, DC. A successful Scrum Master candidate inspires a team of highly motivated and talented team members in meeting the business and technology goals through collaboration with technology and business partners. The Scrum Master responsibilities are as follows: 


  • Ensure the team and organization understand Agile values and principles and follow the processes and practices that the team agreed to use
  • Establish an environment where the team can be effective.
  • Protect the team from outside distractions and interruptions.
  • Help the team to self-organize and work cross-functionally to better manage their product backlog and maximize their efficiency.
  • Assist the team to create a high-value product by removing obstacles in their scrum process and coaching them through daily scrum meetings or other venues when help is needed.
  • Lead change that increases the productivity of the team while working with other scrum masters and product owners to help foster the use of the scrum methodology throughout the organization.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • 8 years' experience developing applications for the Federal Government
  • 6 years' experience in Agile software development.
  • Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org or SAFe.
  • Must be a US citizen.
