We are currently seeking a [[Business Analyst]] to join our team in [[McLean]], [[Virginia]], [[USA]].

Seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst candidate with good analytical skills to join our great team in Bethesda, MD and Tysons, VA. If you want to learn and grow, then this is the job for you. You will be supporting our corporate office as well as supporting our project/customer that supports the NIH Ethics Program by enabling NIH staff to meet the required statutes and regulations governing the ethical behavior of Executive Branch employees of the Federal Government through a secure, web-based workflow management. Responsibilities:

Define and document customer business functions and processes.
Consult with users and stakeholders to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access.
Act as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical analysts, information technology analysts, consultants and other governmental organizations in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of web sites/tools/applications/systems to ensure optimal operational performance.
Expertise in creating mockups using any user interface tool like Axure RP, Balsamiq etc.,
Analyze the feasibility of, and develop requirements for, new systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensure the system design fits the needs of the users.
Track and fully document changes for functional and business specifications; write detailed universally understood procedures for permanent records and for use in training.
Follow-up with customers and technical support staff on the status of resolution of helpdesk tickets to ensure problems are resolved on a timely basis
Act as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical analysts, information technology analysts, consultants and other governmental organizations in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of web sites/tools/applications/systems to ensure optimal operational performance.
Can relate technical information to non-technical audience and effectively communicate insights to cross-functional team members
Work closely with clients, technical team, and managerial staff
Combination of attention to detail with a broad perspective of the client’s business needs is critical
Develop, execute and maintain test cases and conduct quality assurance (QA) for conformance of design as needed
Should be able to communicate feedback to the Quality Assurance and the development team
Must be well versed with defect management concepts and processes
Able to clearly communicate and articulate, both written and verbally, detailed specifications
Experience working in an agile environment to support drafting user stories, and business flows
Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced and often changing environment
Provide support for a variety of meetings, conferences and program activities.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline.
At least 5+ years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures used in the business analysis and design
Should be able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, both oral and written, and interpret regulatory guidance and identified vulnerabilities to a wide audience.
Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
Working knowledge of data analysis tools including Excel Pivot tables, and other data analysis skills is a plus.
Familiarity and Experience Office 365, SharePoint Online, ServiceNow and JIRA experience is a plus
Familiarity with business readable language like Gherkins
Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
Previous Government, NIH, HHS work experience is a plus
Experience in all parts of Software Engineering (Example: requirements, design, testing and implementations) and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience working onsite with government client.
