NTT DATA currently seeks a Client Delivery Executive III - to join our Federal Civilian Practice in the Public Sector Business Unit, based in the DC Area.

Overall Responsibilities & Duties - All Within Federal Civilian Practice:


•           Overall ownership of assigned customer relationship(s).

•           Accountable for the delivery of service commitments to customers for their account(s).

•           Develops account plan for the LOB account(s) in coordination with the Customer Executive who  

owns the integrated, final plan.

•           Manages delivery components of the Account P&L.

•           LOB is responsible for pricing and setting margin and the Customer Delivery Executive owns deal

governance and technical certification.

•           Ensures that full life cycle delivery costs are within or better than the delivery costs committed

within the approved deal model.

•           Responsible for profit goals and effectively manages LOB account P&L and forecasts.

•           Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of

the group.

•           Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce.

•           Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team


•           Coordinates the activities of technical solution team members to meet contract obligations.

•           Provides complex metrics and reporting support to all relevant stakeholders.

•           Identifies opportunities for Growth and Innovation and supports planning and execution for the


•           Proactively identifies potential issues and drives resolution to avoid customer impact and

facilitate continuous improvement.

•           Builds and sustains effective communications with all stakeholders and cross-functional teams in

an effort to maximize the customer experience.

•           Ensures positive customer experience and satisfaction by developing and executing to a Net

Promoter Score (NPS) Action Plan.

  • Accountable for related performance objectives.
  • Initiates integrated business plans based on senior leadership strategy.
  • Assumes responsibility for sales objectives.
  • Manages multiple programs and the coordination and direction of large third-party partner relationships.
  • Engagements are predominantly regional (Federal), while leading delivery teams that may exceed 100 or more employees.
  • Demonstrated experience at overseeing and managing the largest and most complex accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives. 
  • Seasoned ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
  • Proven interpersonal, organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proven presentation skills to C-level executives
  • Proven negotiation and problem solving skills
  • The ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism
  • The ability to multitask

  • Expert priority-setting skills as they relate to setting strategic direction for the group.
  • Ability to lead large cross-functional teams including global teams.
  • Drives quality and productivity within team.
  • Expert analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to motivate, direct and lead large groups of people at all levels within the organization.
  • Extensive experience managing very large third party relationships across geographies and/or industries in the successful achievement of customer satisfaction levels.
  • Expert ability to implement delivery transformation programs to re-engineer delivery cost model.
  • A proven track record of leading large, complex, high-risk projects in a client environment
  • Vendor/business partner management skills
  • Expert knowledge of finance, contract management, customer relationship, leadership, relevant industry, negotiation, value creation and project management.



Basic Qualifications within Federal Civilian Industry:


  • Requires 15+ years Client Portfolio management in Federal Civilian. (Includes 7+ years managerial/leadership experience.)
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Graduate degree preferred. 
  • 10+ years of experience overseeing and managing largest and complex Fed Civ
  • 10+ years of demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic Fed Civ
