NTT DATA Services currently seeks a DevOps Lead - Azure to join our team in Melville, New York (US-NY), United States (US).

 

 

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide consulting services in DevOps and drive the assigned DevOps activities by working alongside the client team.
  • Guide the client in preparing the design roadmap, implementing the tool, structure the modules and assist with testing and deploying new code.
  • Work to harvest best practices and document lessons learned as part of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and monitor the cloud computing resources operation, provision and manage access and overall knowledge and responsibility over the cloud footprint.

The ideal candidate will have:

 

  • Strong working knowledge of the following Tech Stack:
    • Azure Cosmos DB
    • Azure SQL DB
    • CloudAMQP (RabbitMQ as a Service)
    • Azure Kubernetes Service
    • Azure API Gateway
    • Azure Redis Cache
  • Monitoring experience:
    • Azure Monitoring
    • Prometheus (for AKS monitoring)
  • Experience with Deployment Tools:
    • Octopus
    • Jenkins
  • Proven expertise in application containerization management with OpenShift
  • In-depth knowledge of best practices around developing micro services architectures and Dockers
  • Strong OpenShift deployment and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient in regular health checks on environments, which may include task such as Checking status of environments and individual tools. Running scripted health checks, restarting individual tools and Running scripted maintenance activities (start/stop services)
  • Experience with CI/CD principles
  • Working experience with DevOps or Agile processes

 

Required skills and experience:

 

  • 5+ years of experience in .NET core and .NET framework development
  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps tools (Azure)
  • 1+ year of experience in OpenShift AND/OR Kubernetes.
