NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Program Management Specialist/Business Analyst to join our team in Merrifield, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).  MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET OR TOP SECRET TO BE CONSIDERED.

 

 

Analyze Data: The data analyst must be able to identify and interpret patterns and trends, assess data quality and eliminate irrelevant data. During the data analyst’s research, they might seek out experts in the area related to the situation to learn more about it and potential solutions. The data analyst might also reach out for the assistance of statisticians or other data analysts.

 

Report Results: The data analyst communicates the results of his/her analysis as a comprehensive report to client leadership and others affected by the results. They design the report and include tools that can help those involved easily digest the data, such as statistics, graphs, images and lists. They might distribute the report via shared software, email, or a face-to-face meeting presentation. In the report, the data analyst may offer several potential solutions, such as a new business process, training method or technology; or organizational changes.

 

Data Management: The data analyst may provide database design and management services, as dictated by need. They may make database design recommendations. Additionally, the data analyst may make recommendations about the methods used to collect, analyze and manage data to improve data quality and the efficiency of data systems.

 

Other Duties: The data analyst may train employees in new procedures or protocols; or assist with the recommendations of new technologies. They may be required to monitor and offer assistance during any such changes. The data analyst may meet with IT management through a project life cycle for the development and testing of systems. The data analyst may analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action. Review performance issues and may use quantitative methods to measure application performance.

 

Must have excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel's advanced functionality to include pivot tables, pivot charts, vlookup, etc.
Must have strong written and speaking skills in order to articulate/brief complex findings and reports.

 

Required Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor Degree.
Must have 5-7 years of relevant experience.
Must have a current, Active Secret clearance.
Must have three years experience as a business analyst performing metrics/data analysis; importing data from various sources to produce/develop reports, trends and patterns.

 

Desired Skills:
Prior experience supporting law enforcement or intelligence/operations center in a business analysis capacity.
Five years experience as a business analyst performing metrics/data analysis; importing data from various sources to produce/develop reports, trends and patterns.
