NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Sr. Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Merrifield, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

 

 

LINK DISCOVERY: Assess criminal wildlife trafficking networks and linkages. An example of this task includes looking at what other countries or disparate US agencies and organizations have regarding information and determine the actionable value added of this information. Appropriate social network analysis shall be applied when necessary.

NOVEL TRADECRAFT: Evaluate and combine tool enhanced open source, commercial data, non-government and government data sources to assist in wildlife trafficking case investigations, operational and analysis activities. An example of this task includes fusing open-source information, assets, companies, or societies, with closed-source investigative reports to develop an understanding of the "why and how" of criminal wildlife and wildlife product movements.

INNOVATIVE ANALYSIS: Perform information development and dissemination. In addition, the Contractor shall produce, manage content, and disseminate reports, to include liaison activities, intelligence analysis, evaluation, and case integration.

 

Review extensive investigative records, both seized and collected via subpoena and through open source and government database searches and then prepare detailed summary reports regarding the information.• Provide recommendations as to how to maximize the use of all federal criminal, civil statutes relating to wildlife trafficking and other statutes and regulations associated to illicit trafficking under the authority of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and partner agencies how to apply them to global criminal organizations.• Due to specific international investigative mission, the contractor shall ensure that all investigative tools are applied as warranted.• The contractor shall advise and train investigative/support personnel in the art of illicit trafficking investigations and develop/present Wildlife Trafficking and Illicit Trafficking Investigations, as and where needed.• Enhance reports with link charts that visually diagram associations of varying data points.• Provide research skills to help provide a better understanding of command structures of criminal organizations so that law enforcement agencies can better disrupt and dismantle them.• Contribute to the development of the Attorney General’s Organized Crime Council (AGOCC) Annual Report and multiple other high-level reports to FWS OLE, IOC-2 and/or OCDETF leadership, in areas regarding wildlife trafficking.• Oversee and/or execute strategic and programmatic goals, ad-hoc requests, financial plans, data analytics, and work products for FWS OLE.• Collect, analyze and provide social media and other open source reporting to Intelligence Analysts (IA) for incorporation into FWS OLE deliverables, typically generating additional leads for the IAs. With its integration into routine analytical product development, the Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) capability has supported law enforcement investigations with greater link analysis driven by foreign language searches, connection identification between cases, and searches that may identify other information not available in government databases.• Attend onsite and offsite training to enhance analytical skills to support law enforcement investigations and FWS OLE work products.• Travel to domestic and/or foreign law enforcement agency offices, FWS OLE case coordination locations to support law enforcement investigations and FWS OLE work products.

 

Required Qualification:

 
•6-8 years of relevant experience
•Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
