NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Network Security Senior Specialist Advisor to join our team in Monterrey, Nuevo León (MX-NLE), Mexico (MX).

 

 

 

·       This position will involve daily maintenance and operations of the leveraged Network security service infrastructure.

·       You will be working primarily with Cisco Firepower, Checkpoint, Tipping points, Bluecoat proxy, Bluecoat Director and logger and other network security products in order to help design, confirm, determine and/or troubleshoot network traffic flows.

·       This role requires daily maintenance and operations of multiple customers’ devices and network security infrastructure.

·       The successful candidate will be required to lead a team of 9 engineers and assist them in their day-today operations support roles and responsibilities.

·       Monthly inventory review and technical quality auditing review of request tickets and Incidents of team members following the set ITIL based process and guidelines.

·       Leading the project plans and getting them executed with the help of strong multi-cultural team of engineers.

·       Troubleshoot traffic flows, as well as maintain accurate documentation of network security devices and network security support activities and processes.

·       Work independently and remotely over VPN if required to provide support over high severity INC situations.

·       Ability to solve problems with minimal client input and ability to escalate when solution is not readily apparent.

  • 8 + years in an  Information Security environment supporting services (s Firewall, IDS/IPS, Content Filtering )
  • Advanced knowledge for Security Technologies and tools like Cisco Firepower, Bluecoat proxy, Bluecoat Director and Logger and Tipping Point IPS.
  • Advanced Communication skills (experience in Customer-facing trouble shooting calls)
  • Ability to chair bridge calls delegating tasks and drive to resolution Escalation calls for Technical Security issues collaborating with other support teams.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance to internal and external support team and collaborators on processes and compliance

 

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Cisco Firepower’s is a must.
  • Prior experience technical leadership role is desirable however not required.
  • Experience with VPN products and Network Design
  • Current Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE-Security) Proficiency is a plus
