NTT DATA Services currently seeks a .NET Domain Tech Lead to join our team in Montpelier, Vermont (US-VT), United States (US).

 

 

Responsibilities
 

WaterFall

Ideation & Discovery

  • Understand project goals
  • Partner with business stakeholders to explore options
  • Identify and evaluate potential solutions
  • Participate in requirement gathering sessions and actively represent technical concerns, options, and potential impacts
  • Identify technical risks and lead mitigation
  • Collaborate with the Business Analyst(s) on non-functional requirements
  • Collaborate with technical experts on design
  • Refine technical solution and estimates

Design & Construction

  • Continue to participate in requirement sessions
  • Continue to identify technical risks, lead mitigation
  • Collaborate with Domain Leads to solidify the solution architecture; secure approval
  • Provide Project Manager with technical WBS content (tasks, dependencies, estimates, resource suggestions) for the initial baseline.
  • Manage solution design changes introduced by requirement and technical discoveries
  • Continue to identify technical risks, lead mitigation
  • Triage and resolve technical issues escalated from development teams
  • Revise the Solution Architecture (as needed)
  • Review and approve detailed component designs
  • Ensure development governance process is followed

Test & Transition

  • Continue to identify technical risks, lead mitigation
  • Continue to triage and resolve technical issues escalated from development teams
  • Monitor defect log
  • Continue to triage and resolve technical issues
  • Ensure the technical consistency of the deployment strategy and transition plan
  • Establish a steady-state support plan

Agile

  • Understand high-level user stories and expected return.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to explore options.
  • Roughly identify initial required team composition.
  • Understand user stories and non-functional requirements to propose an end-to-end component architecture.

Provide technical team leadership:

  • Identify and mitigate technical risk
  • Resolve technical obstacles (as needed)
  • Update our component architecture as needed (as needed)
  • Detailed component design and code reviews (can delegate as needed)
  • Participate in the work estimation process
  • Release planning
  • Proactively identify skill gaps and propose remediation

 

Mandatory Requirements                    

  • 5+ years experience in .NET Development: VB.NET/C#.NET
  • 3+ years experience in SQL Development
