NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Linux/NetworkAdministrator to join our team in Mountain View, California (US-CA), United States (US).

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, installation, test, operation, and maintenance of SOC developmental, staging and operational systems in accordance with the system security plan (both hardware and software)
  • Creation and maintenance of design, configuration and operations documentation
  • Troubleshoot server, storage, and basic network issues and bring to resolution
  • Function as part of a rotating after-hours on-call support team
  • Maintain accountability of software and hardware licenses, maintenance records, and service agreements

 

Required Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of experience
  • 5-7 years of directly related work experience
  • Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a government issued Secret clearance

 

Skills:

  • Experience installing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining physical and virtual servers in an enterprise environment (Dell and HP hardware desired)
  • Experience designing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining network infrastructure – (switches, routers, firewalls) in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining Puppet.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining YUM repositories.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining Nagios
  • Experience deploying and maintaining VMware (v6.5 preferred)
  • Linux administration - CentOS, RHEL, kickstart, DHCP, BOOTP, TFTP, NFS, NTP, LDAP
  • Experience writing and maintaining bash and python scripts
  • Deep experience diagnosing and repairing hardware and software issues
  • Experience troubleshooting basic network issues
  • Experience supporting SAN, NFS, and backup infrastructure and software (NetBackup preferred)
  • Ability to develop, produce and maintain system and data center documentation
  • One or more IT Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, SSCP, CSSP)
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time to other US based NASA centers
