Director for Innovation, Strategy and Growth for Technology Services - remote in US

NTT Data Services has experienced tremendous growth and will continue to expand by acquiring more organizations.  With this growth, we are evaluating current services offered across all of our business verticals globally and evaluating services offered by recently acquired companies.  This information is allowing us to determine how we might be innovative by joining services together or working with external firms to partner and improve existing services creating innovative solutions to solve real-time client problems today and in the future.  The Director will be part of this team working ultimately to find the best services to offer across our organization to clients solving business problems with technology.  

The Director of  Innovation Strategy, Collaboration & Growth will play a pivotal role in advancing NTT DATA’s business' growth priorities in collaboration with other key stakeholders across the enterprise, with a focus on technology-enabled innovation.

We are looking for an experienced professional to join NTT DATA’s Global Innovation Headquarters (HQ) organization - comprised of professionals across strategy, innovation, technology, planning & operations, and strategic partnerships - that works collaboratively with the global enterprise to drive and accelerate growth and innovation.  The ideal candidate for this position will have 8 – 10 years of relevant experience  including 4+ years of consulting experience working with innovation ideas and strategy across several business sectors and interacts with Executive leaders making presentations on future growth strategy through innovative technology services.   Desire a person that will be curious, creative, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited by the idea of exploring and influencing how strategy, innovation, and technology will shape the future for NTT DATA and its clients across industries.  

This person will have a proven track record in innovation management, with a strong understanding of the innovation process from ideation to commercialization. He or she will be a strategic thinker with the ability to think outside the box and develop creative solutions to complex problems. The Director will also be an excellent communicator and team leader, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities

Thiw person will play a pivotal role in advancing NTT DATA’s business' growth priorities in collaboration with other key stakeholders across the enterprise, with a focus on technology-enabled innovation. Related responsibilities include:

• Supporting the development and stewardship of global innovation strategy.
• Collaborating with corporate HQ, regional HQ, and business unit innovation stakeholders to support strategy development and to ensure alignment with corporate and functional unit innovation strategies.
• Conducting analysis to support the identification and prioritization of related growth opportunities and informing related investment decisions.
• Ensuring cross-enterprise alignment of regional and business unit innovation strategies and programs with corporate business, technology, M&A and overall growth strategies.
• Delivering market intelligence to leadership and to key stakeholders to support innovation related goals and objectives.
• Engaging with other eco-system partners as necessary to identify, evaluate, monitor and track potential innovation opportunities.
• Play an active role in the orchestration and facilitation of related Customer Insights Forums and internal Innovation Growth forums.

Required Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of experience in traditional management consulting, innovation management, or in corporate strategy roles focused on innovation and growth of technology services.
• 3+ years of Consulting experience
• Experience working with multiple business verticals looking for technology enhancements.  Example:  Manufacturing, Financial Services, Healthcare, Public Sector, Commercial.
• Experience working with executive leadership / the C-Suite.
• Experience in project management and leading teams remotely with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ability to simultaneously manage and execute multiple strategic initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Ability to travel 25%, on average.

Basic Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years Consulting experience 
• 3+ years building out global innovation and strategy along with strategies and standards. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Big 4 consulting experience
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
• Advanced degree, MBA
