NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Business Support Senior Associate to join our team in New York, New York (US-NY), United States (US).

Part of our customer's work involves using data to deliver compliant credentialing reports to their clients. This functions like an extensive “background check” before allowing a practitioner to treat patients. They complete this work with a combination of technology enabled automation and manual processes. You will learn their software, technology, and the operational processes that support their credentialing business, and then work with their Operations team to complete tasks, like verifying state licenses against primary sources, and support management functions, like quality assurance. Your background looks a lot like:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training
  • 1-3 years working in a business environment conducting web research, data entry,  or serving as a customer relations agent emailing or speaking to clients on the  phone
  • Attentive to detail; able to spot issues and complete root cause analysis
  • You’re comfortable working independently, but also contributing as part of a team
  • Tech-wise, you are comfortable navigating Excel spreadsheets, working with Google products and learning new technologies.

As a Specialist, you will be joining this Credentialing Operations team to support the execution of credentialing contracts with multiple clients. You’ll be handling exceptions to an automated process, by doing research about provider’s credentials that automated tools could not solve and reaching out to stakeholders for missing  information. You’ll be held to a high quality of work standard and will be a contributor to  the quality control process. You will work both within an internal system as well as  perform phone and email outreach to practitioners and healthcare administrators.    Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and processing task exceptions across 10 business lines, that are  escalated by our agent team
  • Completing primary source verifications across 10 business lines, for clients with domestic labor requirements
  • Conducting internal, or online, research into verifications
  • Monitoring work queues for discrepant information or data
  • Completing high risk or exception primary source verifications
  • Purchase primary source verifications from third parties
  • Highlighting trends to operations analysts to address areas for improvements in business processes

This position is only available to those interested in direct staff employment opportunities with NTT DATA, Inc. or its subsidiaries.  Please note, 1099 or corp-2-corp contractors or the equivalent will NOT be considered. We offer a full comprehensive benefits package that starts from your first day of employment.
