NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Client Partner for Insurance Tech Solutions (P&C or L&A) to join our team in New York, New York (US-NY), United States (US).




Client Executive:

This person manages relationships within one large Insurance client.  He or she manages the current relationships while also expanding the relationships within the organization driving technology solutions that meet business needs. 


Skills Profile:

  • 5+ years of experience of IT services sales/consulting background within Insurance Services. Consulting experience within P&C or Life and Annuities
  • Experience managing a book of business and farming for future business
  • 5+ years’ experience in forecasting, invoicing, SOW and/or proposal development and deal/pursuit management
  • Strong oral and written communications skills and must possess experience at presenting and leading meetings with senior executives including the C-level suite
  • Develop relationships with senior client executives and leverage those relationships to expand NTT DATA’s business through a consultative selling approach
  • Drive business development and sales results in assigned account(s)
  • Build and deliver creative value-added solutions (leveraging internal and external/partner talent where applicable)
  • Experience selling and delivering solutions-based services (i.e., not just staffing)
  • Ability to cross-sell - Cross selling and up selling the NTT DATA Services suite - Mining customer environment to identify new Applications, BPO and infrastructure opportunities
  • Developing the opportunities, researching, gathering competitive intelligence and moving the opportunities through the sales cycle
  • Understanding customer needs and actively participating in proposal and solution development
  • Understanding the customers’ decision-making process, developing the relationships and gaining the confidence of the decision-making executives within the customer organizations
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing contracts
  • Set and manage customer and NTT DATA Services’ Executives expectations throughout the lifecycle of the sales cycle and the account
  • Must have a good understanding of estimation, sales support and proposal writing
  • Understand diverse business units and develop/drive strategic initiatives, value propositions and compelling proposals
  • Lead account planning efforts and develop strategic account plans
  • Use CRM and knowledge management tools
  • Financial management capabilities, including strong forecasting ability
  • Lead a pursuit team and qualify deals
  • Accurately complete monthly financial activities such as forecasting, invoicing, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable

Basic Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience of IT services sales/consulting background within Insurance Services.
  • Must be able to be on client site daily in NY
