Requirements

- 7+ years of relevant experience supporitng on enterprise level- 6+ years of experience supporting/maintaining an Microsoft Server ( 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016) environment at an enterprise level- Candidate must possess familiarity and experience with server hardware, firmware, BIOS, RAID, server backups, and server security Solid understanding of networking components (TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, DHCP)- Knowledge of Virtualization technology (VMWare, Hyper-V)- Technical documentation skills- Flexible in accommodating customer requirements and possess a drive to provide a high level of customer service, which includes working a flexible schedule that can be dictated by enterprise support issues or needs

Preferences

- Microsoft SQL Server- Excelenet in Miscrosoft Clustering (Troublshooting)- Knowledge and experience with Blade server technology- Previous experience HBA and SAN technology- Knowledge of backup products.- MCSA or MCSE are encouraged

 

Role Responsibilities

- Lead high severity calls and provide quick resolution- Intiate and run CSI intiatives- Increase Automaiton in the team- Responsible for analyzing and implementing OS patches and hot fixes as well as other OS configurations and updates - Good knowledge on windows clustering and hardware.- Operate independently in the absence of strict guidance to correct issues and improve the environment- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills in enterprise level environments, being able to logically step through issues and troubleshoot problems by thinking outside of the box and being creative with solutions- Relate technical issues and requirements to business issues and vice versa and be able to communicate these to non-technical associates and customers - Coordinate with other internal teams on maintenance of systems - Will be required to participate within an on-call schedul
