NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Data Center Operations Associate to join our team in Palm Springs, CA.  We are only considering local candidates at this time. 

 

This position is a part time (24 hours per week) role that will cover weekend night shifts.  The hours for this role are:

 

Friday 11:00pm to Saturday 11:30am

Saturday 11:00pm to Sunday 11:30am

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Process incoming calls to the Help Desk via both telephone and e-mail
  • Resolve computer and software related issues which do not require assistance from an I.S. specialist
  • Ensure customer satisfaction while providing high quality service and support for all customer requests
  • Provide first level support to the hospital departments supporting various hospital and Microsoft Office applications
  • Provide training for end users on hospital based systems (Cerner Power Chart, PACS, HPF and Physician Portal)
     

Basic Qualifications 

  • 1+ year of experience in a helpdesk environment
  • Working knowledge of computers and computer software with experience monitoring system backups and the changing of backup tapes
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with minimal supervision

 

Nice to Have

  • Prior support experience of hospital software applications
